The PVGroup.pl junction box is a combination of devices from different manufacturers, intended for use in isolated and grounded photovoltaic installations. Different amounts of photovoltaic strings can be connected to the PVGroup.pl junction box, depending on the version that has been selected. The box with its components may only be used in accordance with the instructions contained in this manual. Introducing changes and using third-party products and components is allowed only if they are recommended or approved by PVGroup.pl.
After completing the installation of the junction box in the existing system/installation, it is necessary to inspect and assess the risk associated with the operation of the components. Failure-free and safe operation of the junction box components can only be guaranteed if it is properly transported, stored, positioned, assembled, installed, commissioned, operated and maintained. Do not exceed the permissible ambient conditions. Observe the instructions in the accompanying documentation. If they are not followed, there is a risk of electric shock or material damage.

Our photovoltaic construction kits travel to you with insured transport. Shipments are packed with great care in such a way that the goods reach their destination in an undamaged form. Packing takes place under the supervision of cameras. However, if there is a problem, please write down a protocol with the courier, mark what exactly is damaged and this is where the customer's responsibility ends. PVGroup.pl sent new goods. Installation of the PVGroup.pl junction box

 

- Before proceeding with installation, always check the junction box for any external signs of damage. A damaged junction box must not be used.
- The place where the junction box will be installed should always be in the shade. Avoid places exposed to high temperatures, e.g. as a result of direct sunlight.

- The junction box must be installed in an area that is protected against wind and weather. Sufficient protection should be provided against moisture, snow and storms. - The junction box should be installed under the roof.
- The junction box must always be installed vertically.
- Do not install the junction box upside down.
- Sufficient air circulation must be ensured around the box housing. For this purpose, a sufficient distance of 200mm should be kept on each side, e.g. from metal covers protecting against unfavorable weather conditions and sunlight.

3.1 Mounting the housing

Along with the finished product, all the accessories necessary for installation and operation are included. Only these parts should be used.

Mounting method:
1. Pay attention to the distances of the holes in the housing
2. Mark the drilling locations on the wall.
3. Drill holes in the marked places.
4. Place appropriate dowels in the holes.
5. Loosen the four cover screws and remove the cover.
6. Screw on the generator connection box using the appropriate screws and, if necessary, washers, which are supplied with the box.
7. Tighten the main cover with a torque of 1,2 Nm to ensure an IP65 seal.
